Exciting opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor, looking to take a step up in their career with a highly regarded forward thinking firm based in Nottingham.

Job Purpose:

You will form an important part of the Employment Law team, dealing with a interesting range of employment cases, working on behalf of both claimants and respondents
*

Advising individuals and business clients on current legislation, case law and best practice
*

Providing technical expertise acting on both claimant and respondent cases
*

Undertaking both contentious and non-contentious work
*

Ensuring the Employment Law team provides a first-class service



Job Description:

*

Covering all aspects of Employment Law work, you will provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and external clients
*

Varied duties including dealing with a range of Employment Law work including: Business protection, advising businesses and individuals on aspects of the Good Work Plan 2020, employment contracts, director's service agreements, contracts for services and consultancy agreements, collective and individual consultation, harmonisation of terms and conditions, employee benefits, development of employment policies and procedures, equality, diversity and inclusion, discrimination, bullying and harassment, family friendly rights, GDPR and data protection, redundancy and reorganisation, settlement agreements, termination of employment, disputes, tribunal claims, TUPE, mergers and acquisitions, wages, holiday and sick pay, unlawful deduction of earnings.
