Exciting opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor, looking to take a step up in their career with a highly regarded forward thinking firm based in Nottingham.


A leading, legal 500 firm are on the lookout for an experienced, ambitious Employment Solicitor to join their award-winning team.



Responsibilities

To advise and assist clients in connection with, both contentious and non-contentious, employment matters:

* Advocacy in employment tribunals-Directions Hearings/Preliminary Hearings

* Ability to prepare for employment tribunal cases, including preparation of Claim/Response, Interlocutory Applications, Witness Statements, Skeleton Arguments

* Corporate support work - e.g. advice on TUPE in connection with transactions; advising on indemnities and warranties; due diligence reports for clients.

* Drafting contracts, policies and procedures; advising clients on what procedures are required

* General advice - e.g. conduct of disciplinary investigations; grievance procedures; redundancy programmes; general queries about flexible working, maternity rights, paternity rights etc.

* Contributing towards the marketing efforts and other non-fee-earning projects of the department, including assisting in the preparation of and /or speaking at seminars, drafting training programmes, keeping precedents up-to date and contributing to Employment Bulletins
