The Role

  • Develop and lead a new claimant-side competition litigation practice.

  • Assess potential competition claims and identify new case opportunities.

  • Advise on follow-on and standalone competition claims.

  • Engage in opt-in and opt-out collective proceedings before the Competition Appeal Tribunal.

  • Contribute to business development and the practice's growth.

  • Shape the direction and strategy of this expanding area of work.

About You

  • Experienced Solicitor with a strong background in competition law and litigation.

  • Proven experience in complex competition disputes and damages claims.

  • Familiarity with collective proceedings and the Competition Appeal Tribunal.

  • Experience with funded litigation and external stakeholders is advantageous.

  • Commercially minded, with the ability to assess potential claims.

  • Confident in managing complex matters and developing case strategies.

  • Entrepreneurial approach with ambition to grow a successful practice area.

  • Strong communication and business development skills.
